Students, faculty, staff invited to share thoughts in open town hall

11:25 a.m., Feb. 23, 2015--All University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to meet with Provost Domenico Grasso in an open format town hall meeting scheduled from 4-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, in Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.

The provost hopes to hear from all segments of the community, as he believes in working collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to support the University’s success.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

In his recent letter to the campus community he noted, “UD is a place where we dare to be first, dare to be bold, and dare to shine — where faculty and students work together to help address real-world issues.”

Members of the community are encouraged to attend, ask questions, share ideas and learn about the future of UD.
