This semester, the MSCC offers students a choice between face-to-face tutoring at the ELI and synchronous (live) online writing tutoring using Skype and Google Docs.
ELI tutors and faculty are available to help students at any stage of the writing process, and although they will not edit writing, they will provide feedback, suggestions and strategies that focus on ESL students’ particular needs.
For more information and to make an appointment, visit this website. Students or faculty can direct questions to Nigel Caplan, assistant professor at the ELI, at nacaplan@udel.edu.
The MSCC is funded by a Transformation Grant awarded to ELI faculty Scott Duarte, Ken Cranker Caplan from the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning with additional support from ELI.
