Corq app gives instant mobile access to student groups and events
3:42 p.m., Feb. 12, 2015--Spring Activities Night welcomed 200 University of Delaware student groups and thousands of students to Perkins Student Center on Wednesday night, ushering in a new semester of countless opportunities for Blue Hens to get involved and to meet others who share their interests.
Among the festivities was a lounge featuring hot chocolate, cider and cookies in celebration of the University Student Centers’ newest tool for bringing students together, the Corq app, connecting users via mobile device to the vast variety of organizations and events that can be found on Student Central.

Student Central, found at this website, provides all members of the University of Delaware community with instant access to 300-plus registered student organizations (RSOs), 40-plus Greek chapters and councils, departments within UD’s Division of Student Life, and the thousands of programs that these groups host each year.
The Corq app is free and available for users of a myriad of mobile devices on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Once users open the app, choose University of Delaware, and log in with their UDelnet credentials, they will have the same access to view, join and share the events and organizations they are accustomed to seeing on Student Central’s web version. Additionally, Corq features a Share button to easily export events to the social media platform of one’s choice.
Highlights from last night’s event can be found at this Storify page.
