Barnes and Noble UD Bookstore plans holiday events during December
2:33 p.m., Dec. 3, 2014--The Barnes and Noble University of Delaware Bookstore will celebrate the holiday season with a variety of activities and special sales during the month of December.
The Bookstore is located at 83 East Main St. in Newark.

Through Saturday, Dec. 14, all Champion products are 25 percent off.
From 6-8 p.m., on Winterfest, Friday, Dec. 5, story time will be held every half hour for children of all ages, and free UDairy ice cream will be available.
December Saturdays will feature story time and pictures with Santa from noon-2 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 7, is "De-Stress Day”, featuring pictures with Santa, a cozy raffle, 25 percent off all study aids (some exclusions apply) and Grande size hot coffee and tea for $1.
On Wednesday, Dec. 24, story time with Santa is scheduled from noon-2 p.m., with cookies and milk to follow.
Promotions this month in the Blue Hen Café include:
• Warm and Toasty Tuesdays, with 50 percent all café sandwiches;
• Cheesy Thursdays, with 50 percent off café pizzas;
• "Study with a Buddy" on Thursday, Dec. 4, when you can purchase a café drink and get one free to share; and
• "Perfect Pairings," breakfast for $3 (choose between assorted bagels, muffins or a Rice Crispy treat, to pair with an iced coffee or iced tea of any size) and lunch for $5 (choose between assorted half-sandwiches, stuffed pretzels or a soup to pair with an iced coffee or iced tea of any size).
