HealthyU provides faculty, staff resources for fitness-related New Year's resolutions

8:38 a.m., Dec. 19, 2014--The HealthyU Employee Wellness program provides a wealth of resources for University of Delaware faculty and staff to address their fitness-related resolutions in the New Year. 

With a variety of fitness classes, intramural basketball and personal training, there are programs for everyone.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

Registration for employee-only fitness classes available during the winter session opened Dec. 15, featuring yoga, Zumba and an all new interval training class. Classes will run for five weeks, beginning Jan. 5, 2015.

Also part of the winter line-up is a three-on-three, half-court basketball league that can serve as a break from the office routine midway through the week. Employees can form their own teams or sign up as individuals. All levels of play are welcome.

HealthyU’s popular personal training appointments are also available as one- or three-session packages. Together with a trainer, employees can create a plan based on their own personal goals and exercise preferences, with an emphasis on form and safety.
