Team seeks campus-community engagement data through online survey
3 p.m., April 7, 2015--The University of Delaware, which earlier this year received the Community Engagement classification from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, works in partnership with dozens of organizations and programs locally and internationally on projects that contribute to the public good.
To develop a more comprehensive understanding of the breadth and depth of these partnerships in Newark, April Veness, associate professor of geography, and a team of UD students are conducting a campus-community research project.

As part of the project, the team is asking members of the campus community to take an online survey that will add information to an inventory of campus-community partnerships in Newark.

Veness said the team will need to have survey responses collected by the third week of April in order to catalog and analyze them before the semester ends.
