China Forum Lecture to feature leading scholar on Confucianism
9:35 a.m., April 15, 2015--Peimin Ni, a leading scholar on Confucianism, will be the featured speaker in the eighth China Forum Lecture to be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, April 20, in 205 Kirkbride Hall on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The lecture is sponsored by the Confucius Institute at UD and is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the talk, also in 205 Kirkbride.

Ni, who is a professor of philosophy at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, will speak on the topic “A Gongfu Interpretation of Confucianism and Its Significance Beyond.”
Ni is a founder and former president of the Association of Chinese Philosophers in America (ACPA) and serves as editor-in-chief of the ACPA book series on “Chinese and Comparative Philosophy.” He is president of the Society of Asian and Comparative Philosophy.
