Newark Police investigate apartment burglary on Marvin Drive
2:20 p.m., April 15, 2015--Newark Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 13, on Marvin Drive in Newark.
A man returned to his apartment on Marvin Drive to find a man standing in the hallway with the resident’s door wide open. The suspect asked the victim for money, implied he had a weapon and then removed a cell phone from the victim’s pocket before fleeing the scene. Various electronics were later discovered missing from the victim’s apartment.
The suspect was described as approximately 35 to 40 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin build with a thick mustache.
