New website
Institutional Research and Effectiveness website adds new features, navigation
1:13 p.m., April 28, 2015--Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) at the University of Delaware has released its new website (ire.udel.edu), which reflects several months of planning and development with IRE staff streamlining and reorganizing existing content to make data, reports and information easier to locate with more user-friendly navigation.
For example, on the Institutional Research page, data and information are grouped across the top menu by data type (i.e., Enrollment Data, Student Outcomes Data, Faculty and Staff Data, etc.). There are links to all Annual Publications, including the newly released 2014-15 Facts and Figures and 2014-15 Quick Facts. Information is categorized along the left-hand menu into areas like Decision Support and Resources and Links for UD Department Chairs. There is also a category for the external community that may help someone who is not familiar with IRE’s data locate information relevant to their interests.

The website prominently displays several new features, including newly developed Enrollment and Human Resources Dashboards, along with details on plans for additional dashboard development for release both on the IRE website (publicly available data) and forthcoming dashboards within UDataGlance (accessible based on security privileges). UD Benchmarking resources are also provided including comparator lists and comparator data reports. The 2014-15 Facts and Figures and Quick Facts data are also available with a responsive design that will allow easy navigation on mobile devices. IRE is continuing to work with Information Technology (IT) to resolve some mobile menu functionality issues.
When visiting the new IRE site, it will be easier to learn and view information relevant to the three sub-units of IRE, as they each have their own landing pages where users can find data, reports and locate staff to contact with any questions:

The IRE website is a continuing work in progress.

2014-15 Facts and Figures now available
IRE’s annual Facts and Figures publication has been released on the new site, where 2014-15 official data on students, faculty/staff, finances and facilities are reported and available for download and print as PDFs.
