University announces 'cut over' date for VoIP phone service is Sept. 30
9:50 a.m., Sept. 19, 2013--University of Delaware Telephone Services has announced the “cut over” date for the new VoIP telephone service will be Sept. 30.
“Cut over” means that the new VoIP phone system will be fully functional. Members of the campus community will still be able to use their existing Centrex phone until the transition is complete.

Prior to the “cut over,” users should set up their new voice mailboxes. The new voice mail system is not tied to the former voice mail system. The VoIP website has user guides with step-by-step instructions for setting up voice mail.
For those who need to learn how to use the new VoIP phone, user guides are available for each VoIP model phone deployed.
Don’t have a new VoIP phone?
For those who did not receive a new VoIP phone, call Telephone Services at 302-831-2411. The deployment team will deliver a phone.
