SCPAB to present 'Tunes in Trabant' music series

2:52 p.m., Sept. 10, 2013--The Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB) will offer a “Tunes in Trabant” series this fall, presenting acoustic musicians at the University of Delaware’s Trabant University Center.

Tunes in Trabant will be held on various Thursdays throughout the fall semester. Students can listen to acoustic artists on the Trabant University Center patio, with a rain location inside the Trabant’s food court.

Through July 31: 'Margaret Walker' exhibition

The University of Delaware Library the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet, novelist, teacher and critic Margaret Walker with a special exhibition on view through July 31.

July 31: Ragtime and jazz concert

Ragtime xylophone and jazz vibes will highlight a free mallet workshop concert, set at 8 p.m., Friday, July 31, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building on UD's Newark campus.

The event is free of charge and no tickets are required.

The Tunes in Trabant schedule is as follows:

  • Sept. 12: Caleb Hawley, at 3 p.m.
  • Sept. 19: NOAH, at noon.
  • Sept. 26: Aaron Zimmer, at 3 p.m.
  • Oct. 3: Andrea Davidson, at 3 p.m.
  • Oct. 10: Student Show, at 3 p.m.
