University Library offers 'Introduction to Studio Recording' workshop

1:44 p.m., Sept. 17, 2013--The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop on studio recording techniques on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9.

The workshop will cover the basics of using the studios and equipment at the Student Multimedia Design Center to record, mix and master an audio project. Software to be demonstrated will include GarageBand (Mac) and Audacity (Windows/Mac).

The workshop is scheduled from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center on the lower level of the Morris Library. Presenter will be Nico Carver, assistant librarian, Student Multimedia Design Center.

The workshop is available at no charge and is open to University faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available.
