“The Career Services Center exists to help students prepare for the professional business world, through resume-critiquing, career workshops, interview preparation, and more,” says one of CSC’s social media marketing interns, Keri Betters. “One way to help the students in a fun and easy way was through a contest with a fun prize.”
An elevator pitch is a quick introduction about what makes a person unique and marketable to a potential employer. Career Services often trains students on how to prepare the pitch before their fall and spring career fairs. For more information on how to develop an elevator pitch, visit the Career Services Facebook page.
The concert, on Sept. 18, is hosted by SCPAB, a UD registered student organization. Tickets are available through the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center.
