Colleges Against Cancer student organization sets first meeting of semester


1:32 p.m., Sept. 4, 2013--Colleges Against Cancer, a registered student organization at the University of Delaware, will hold its first meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 9, in 116 Gore Hall.

All new and returning students are welcome to attend.

Dec. 1: 'Alice' manuscript

A talk by August A. Imholtz Jr. marking the 150th anniversary of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in the Morris Library on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.

Dec. 2: UD Night at Winterthur

University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to join in the winter festivities at UD Night at Yuletide at Winterthur from 4:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement the programs and mission of the American Cancer Society.

Colleges Against Cancer at UD gives students the opportunity to bring the fight against cancer to campus, while receiving support and guidance from the local American Cancer Society office.
