Center for Catalytic Science and Technology sets Research Review

8:34 a.m., Sept. 27, 2013--The University of Delaware Center for Catalytic Science and Technology will celebrate its annual Research Review from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Clayton Hall Conference Center.

The Research Review highlights recent discoveries by UD students and faculty in the areas of environmental, energy, electrochemical and pharmaceutical catalysis.

Money then and now

UD professor Farley Grubb's analysis of the Continental dollar offers an alternate hypothesis on why the United States' first currency system crashed.

Digital citizenship

UD researchers in communication and computer engineering collaborated to see how people access political information on mobile devices.

This year there will be five talks by students and postdoctoral fellows, and five talks by faculty members from the departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. 

The Research Review attracts numerous representatives from national and international companies and from government organizations interested in research conducted at UD.

The event is free and open to the public but registration is required in advance.  For registration, go to this website.
