Nov. 10: CancerBWare 5K
Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies sponsors CancerBWare 5K
1:38 p.m., Sept. 4, 2013--The University of Delaware’s Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies will sponsor the CancerBWare 5K race and walk on Sunday, Nov. 10, beginning at 1 p.m.
CancerBWare is a non-profit organization that is raising funds for colon cancer research and prevention.
Feb. 9-24: 'Galileo: 400 Years'
Feb. 9: Public policy issues
The race will begin at the University’s Laird Campus and follow the White Clay Creek trail.

CancerBWare was in established in 2012 by the friends of Brian L. Ware, a University of Delaware graduate who succumbed to colon cancer at the age of 43 after a 3-1/2 year battle.
In December 2012, CancerBware made a $10,000 donation to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center at Christiana Care Health System, and is working to be able to do the same this year.
