Hens can celebrate Homecoming on more social media platforms than ever
2:51 p.m., Oct. 2, 2013--As Homecoming 2013 begins, the University of Delaware encourages Blue Hens everywhere to share and enhance their experiences using social media.
For the third year in a row, the official hashtag to represent Homecoming is #UDHC.

Once designated for Twitter only, students and alumni can now also use #UDHC on Instagram, Vine and Facebook to share their Homecoming experiences and interact with fellow Blue Hens on campus and across the world.
The social media team in UD’s Office of Communications and Marketing has created a Homecoming 2013 Storify story, which will be populated by pictures, tweets, posts and videos by everyone who uses the #UDHC hashtag by the end of Homecoming weekend. Similar to the Storify stories created for Alumni Weekend and 1743 Welcome Days, the goal of a Storify story is for everyone in the UD community to be able to contribute to and tell the whole Homecoming story.
