Nov. 15: Pitch Party
Horn Program in Entrepreneurship sets pitch competition
“Pitch Party” is a fast-paced competition designed to bring together the best entrepreneurial ideas all UD students have to offer.
Through Sept. 24: 'History of U.S. Constitution'
Sept. 15-17: RLHAB interest sessions
“Every great idea should be given the opportunity to shine,” said Ben Rapkin, president of the E-Club. “Our event aims to provide UD students with exactly that: a way to start making their dream a reality.
The competition, which will occur on Friday, Nov. 15, in the Alfred Lerner Hall Atrium, will be presented in battle-style elimination, designed to determine an ultimate winner.
Contestants will be given 60 seconds to deliver their business ideas to a live audience and panel of judges. The winner will be awarded $1,000 in Venture Development Center cash that can be used toward the development of their business.
Students interested in participating may register by submitting a short description of their idea on the E-Club’s Student Central web page. Registration will end at midnight on Nov. 13.
