TEXT SIZE

10:45 a.m., Oct. 7, 2013--The University of Delaware Bio-Imaging Center at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute will host a workshop featuring the firm Molecular Probes and its latest technology in fluorescence microscopy.

The workshop series will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 18, in Room 102 of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.

Research Stories

Up on the roof

Engineering researchers have used simulations to demonstrate the design, operation, control and economics of incorporating solar power into a hybrid renewable energy system for automotive applications.

Climate change understanding

A new study co-authored by UD alumna Joanna Huxster and UD professor Willett Kempton examines undergraduate student understanding and misconceptions of climate change.

Organized by the Bio-Imaging Center and Molecular Probes, the workshop will focus on new fluorescence microscopy labeling and detection techniques, and will include hands-on and lecture format.

The workshop is designed for those new to labeling or for researchers who just need a little help to improve techniques.

Workshop registration includes all materials needed for the laboratory sessions, as well as a copy of all lecture slides, protocols, and many additional resources. Travel, accommodation and other incidental expenses relating to the workshop are the responsibility of the attendee.
