Campus Stories

Finkel to speak

David Finkel, the Pulitzer-Prize winning author of "Thank You for Your Service," will visit UD to discuss his book with freshmen as part of the 2014 First Year Common Reader Program.

End the silence

More than 300 members of the UD community, including students, faculty, staff and alumni, gathered on the steps of Memorial Hall and the nearby North Green on Sept. 19 to voice their concerns regarding sexual harassment and assault.

The events are free and open to the public, but seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Lunch and refreshments are free to attendees.

Upcoming events include:

Oct. 4, Ewing Room, Perkins Student Center: David Atadan, managing partner of Trellist Marketing and Technology, will speak on “Leading Rapidly Growing Organizations and the Story of Trellist Marketing." E-Club activities

Budding student entrepreneurs interested in getting involved with the E-Club are invited to attend one of the club’s monthly meetings, held every Monday, or stop by a Shark Tank television show viewing party, held every Wednesday. Both events are held at 7:30 p.m. at the Venture Development Center, 196 South College Avenue.
