Faculty Senate Executive Committee sets meeting on STAR data storage facility

10:36 a.m., Oct. 2, 2013--The Executive Committee of the University Faculty Senate has announced that an open meeting will be held to provide information to the campus community on the data storage facility and associated power plant planned for construction on the University’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus.
The intent of the meeting is to be informational, and members of the University administration, the newly formed working group and The Data Centers LLC have been invited to attend.
Mobile food cart pilot
The meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 14, from 4-5:30 p.m., in the auditorium of Mitchell Hall. University ID will be required prior to 4 p.m. to ensure all UD faculty, students and staff have preferential seating.
At 4 p.m., the doors will be open to members of the community if seats are available.
