Cultural Programming Advisory Board to present Luke James in concert

9:35 a.m., Oct. 30, 2013--The University of Delaware Cultural Programming Advisory Board will present Grammy nominated rhythm and blues artist Luke James in concert on Saturday evening, Nov. 9, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.

The doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7.

University of Delaware Library Special Collections will host a one-case exhibition titled "Galileo: 400 Years" from Feb. 9-24.

Feb. 9-June 12: 'The Easter Rising'

The University of Delaware Library has announced the exhibition "'A terrible beauty is born': The Easter Rising" at 100, which will be on view in the Special Collections Gallery from Feb. 9 until June 12, 2016.

Tickets cost $3 for UD students, with a limit of two tickets per UD ID, and $10 for the general public.

James, nominated for best rhythm and blues performance for I Want You at the 2013 Grammy Awards and as best new artist at the 2012 Soul Train Music Awards, was selected by Beyoncé as the opening act for her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.”

His most recent work is the 2013 album Made to Love.
