University Library offers workshop on teaching, learning with images

2:23 p.m., Oct. 10, 2013--The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop titled “Teaching and Learning with Images: Introduction to ARTstoron Tuesday, Nov. 5.

ARTstor is a digital library of more than one million images in arts, architecture, humanities, social sciences and sciences.

June 6: UDid It! Picnic

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The workshop will teach participants how to search for images, create and manage image groups, and download images for use in presentations. 

ARTstor Commons, a free, open-access library of images will also be discussed.

The workshop will be held from 2-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the Library Instruction Room (116A) on the first floor of the Morris Library.

Presenters will be Susan Davi, head, Collection Development Department, and Derek Churchill, director, Visual Resources Collection.

The workshop is available at no charge and is open to University faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available at this site.
