Oct. 22: College Night

100-plus colleges, universities set for College Night at The Bob

11:30 a.m., Oct. 18, 2013--More than 100 colleges and universities will be represented at a College Night, scheduled on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center in Newark.

Designed to help prospective college students get information about higher education options, the free public event begins at 6:30 p.m.

UD doctoral candidate Abdul-Malik Muhammad will speak on the topic "We Can Save Our Boys of Color: Promising Practices from the Field" from 12:30-1:45 p.m., Monday, April 21.

April 21: Lakota Sioux to speak

A delegation of Lakota Sioux will discuss opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline during a presentation at 7 p.m., Monday, April 21, in 100 Kirkbride Hall.
