12:20 p.m., Nov. 22, 2013--University of Delaware Police remind members of the UD community to be careful in sharing information and images on the Internet after two recent incidents in which students were scammed.

In each incident, the student shared intimate images with another person who then threatened to post them publicly unless he sent money. Newark Police and University of Delaware Police are investigating these cases.

Any member of the University community who has been approached by such a scam is advised to contact UD Police at 831-2222 or Newark Police at 366-7111 immediately.
