Instructors are encouraged to nominate the best video projects created by their students during 2012 or 2013. The video projects can be on any subject and must be no more than four minutes long. For longer videos, instructors may recommend a four-minute segment of the video to show.
Instructors need to submit the projects as video data files (such as .mov, mp4, or .avi files) on CDs, DVDs or using UD Dropbox. Send files to Nico Carver, assistant librarian and coordinator of the Student Multimedia Design Center, along with a completed nomination form, by Friday, Dec. 13.
Although there is no minimum on the number of nominations that may be submitted, only a representative number of all nominations will be shown. Selected videos will be posted on the web page of the Student Multimedia Design Center in the "Student Spotlight" section.
Because submitted videos may be available to the public, students should receive permission from individuals whose image or voice is included.
More information is available at the showcase website or by contacting Nico Carver at nico@udel.edu or Hannah Lee, assistant librarian, Student Multimedia Design Center, at hklee@udel.edu, or by calling 302-831-8832.
