The Thursday town hall will be held from 5-6 p.m. in 117 Gore Hall.
Establishing such a core capability in MRI is consistent with the premier research and graduate university milestone articulated in the Path to Prominence strategic plan.
It will promote multidisciplinary collaborations, facilitate cutting-edge research and support cutting edge training of UD undergraduate and graduate students.
The facility is planned for completion in the fall of 2015.
As a core facility, MRI technology will be available to users across the whole campus.
As such, the MRI Task Force would like to engage all potential users as early as possible in the development process to describe the plans and progress to date and to understand the needs and wants of the user community as it moves toward a detailed set of building and instrument specification. Toward this end, the two town hall sessions have been scheduled.
