UD student group buildOn announces electronic waste drive
9:27 a.m., Nov. 19, 2013--The University of Delaware student organization buildOn has announced that it will hold an electronic waste drive to help raise money to build a primary school in Nicaragua.
Members of the campus community are invite to donate cellphones and other electronic waste. The devices can be in any condition -- new, used, or completely broken – and 1,000 smartphones will fully fund the school.

Collections will be accepted from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, and from noon-4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, at a collection box in the Trabant University Center lounge.
Those have electronics to donate after that date or cannot make it one of those days can email firstname.lastname@example.org before the end of finals.
For each device, project partner Gizmogul will donate the cost of the device (or its parts) to buildOn at UD to help fund the school construction project.
