Since its inception, more than $800,000 has been allocated to students through the AEA program.
The 2013-14 application deadlines are Nov. 22 (notified by Dec. 12), Feb. 28 (notified by March 28) and April 1(notified by May 1).
Legacy students only are eligible to receive funding. “Legacy” is defined as a student who has a parent or step-parent who is a UD graduate. No exceptions to this policy will be made and legacy status will be verified.
Up to $2,000 per individual may be awarded to allow students to take part in opportunities outside of the traditional classroom in which the student may not otherwise be able to participate.
These opportunities to enrich the UD experience may include, but are not limited to, academic competitions, research or program-related presentations, leadership conferences, research, service learning or other academic endeavors.
Receipts must be submitted to verify expenses for all money received and all programs must be completed prior to a student’s graduation from UD.
