UD MPA student Simpler to speak in cross-disciplinary policy forum


11:15 a.m., May 15, 2014--Ken Simpler, a University of Delaware graduate student and businessman, will speak on “The Roles an Entrepreneur and Finance Pro Can Play in State Government” during a cross-disciplinary policy forum at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, in UD’s Venture Development Center, 132 E. Delaware Ave.

The presentation is sponsored by the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, the School of Public Policy and Administration in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.

Simpler, an owner and chief financial officer of Seaboard Hotels who holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Chicago, is enrolled in the master of public administration program in UD’s School of Public Administration and Policy. He is a candidate for state treasurer.
