Inaugural Undergraduate Research in the Arts program set Friday at ISE Lab

12:59 p.m., May 5, 2014--The inaugural University of Delaware Undergraduate Research in the Arts program will be held Friday, May 9, from 2-5 p.m., on the first floor of the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory (ISE Lab).

Students will present works of sculpture, painting and choreography created during the 2014 academic year, and many of the works will have a connection to science.

GoBabyGo talk

UD's Cole Galloway joined 75 other internationally recognized thought leaders at TEDMED 2014, "Unlocking Imagination in Service of Health and Medicine," to share the story of the GoBabyGo Program.

Self-assembled materials, InSPACE

A University of Delaware engineer is working to create new "smart materials" through the NASA InSPACE program.

Deborah Hansen, a UD alumna and education associate in visual and performing arts for the Delaware Department of Education, will give the opening remarks.

A reception will follow the students’ presentations. The event is free and open to the public.
