Class of 2014 members invited to UDAA cap decorating party at Trabant


4:21 p.m., May 12, 2014--Members of the Class of 2014 can show their school spirit and celebrate their upcoming graduation at the second annual University of Delaware Alumni Association (UDAA) cap decorating party, scheduled from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center. 

A variety of craft supplies will be provided for seniors to use to decorate their mortar boards to best reflect their time at UD, thanks to parents and mentors, or plans after graduation. Students are welcome to bring their own crafting supplies, as well.

May 4: Education colloquium

The University of Delaware School of Education's spring colloquium series continues May 4 with a presentation from Steve Graham, who is Mary Emily Warner Professor in the Division of Leadership and Innovation in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University.

May 5: Benefits of diversity

Scott Page, author of "The Difference," will speak May 5 at the University of Delaware about the benefits of diversity.

Specially-made 2014 sunglasses perfect to wear at graduation on May 31 will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Seniors will also be able to enjoy snacks, music by DJ Amaze, a photo booth and more.
