UD Police seek public's help in identifying theft suspect

3:49 p.m., May 9, 2014--University of Delaware Police have released surveillance images of a man suspected in several recent thefts on the campus.  

Anyone who knows the identity of the man in these photos is asked to contact UD Police at 302-831-2222.

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

Over the last two months, there has been an increase in thefts from central campus buildings, including Colburn, McKinly, Lammot du Pont, Brown and Drake laboratories, and Kirkbride and Memorial halls. 

Most incidents have occurred in the afternoon between 1 and 4 p.m., and thefts have included cell phones, currency and other unattended property.

Members of the University community are reminded to secure their personal property and to not leave belongings unattended.
