UD Scientistas sponsor panel discussion on careers in STEM

10:12 a.m., May 5, 2014--The University of Delaware Scientistas organization will sponsor a panel discussion titled “Talk Nerdy to Me: Careers in STEM and How They Evolve” at 7 p.m., Monday, May 12, in the Pearson Hall auditorium.

The panel will include UD alumna Sujata Bhatia, assistant director for undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering in Harvard University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and assistant dean of the Harvard Summer School.

April 23-May 10: 'The 39 Steps'

The University of Delaware Resident Ensemble Players will present "Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps" from April 23 through May 10 at the Roselle Center for the Arts.

April 27: Free speech/hate speech

Space is still available in the special half-day symposium at UD that will explore the complexities of free speech, the hurtful impact of hate speech and ways to balance privilege with the rights of others. Advance registration is required.

The Scientista Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gaps between established professionals and female students interested in pursuing careers in STEM fields.
