YoUDee Leadership Award nominations now being accepted
12:14 p.m., March 10, 2014--University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate outstanding individuals, groups and events for the University Student Centers' YoUDee Leadership Awards.
The awards are presented annually and recognize outstanding efforts put forth by student organizations and leaders.
Honors Stories
National Medal of Science
President Barack Obama recently presented the National Medal of Science to University of Delaware alumnus Rakesh Jain.
Warren Award
Rosalind Johnson, assistant dean for student success in the NUCLEUS Program in UD's College of Arts and Sciences, was presented the John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award during a May 26 ceremony.
Individuals may nominate themselves or others in a variety of categories, including:
- Outstanding Adviser
- Outstanding Greek Leader
- Outstanding Leader
- Outstanding Treasurer
- Outstanding Program/Event
- Outstanding Community Service
- Outstanding Philanthropy
- Outstanding Use of Social Media/Website
- Outstanding Use of Student Central
- Outstanding Event or Program Photo
- Outstanding Overall Achievement
- Best New RSO
Nominations will be accepted online by using this form until April 18, and winners will be recognized at the 12th annual awards ceremony on May 15.
