FYI Stories

Moving in

Members of the Class of 2018 will move in on Saturday, Aug. 23, with other new and returning students to follow. Many UD offices and departments will offer special hours and services through the weekend.

Monitoring and planning

UD is monitoring the Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa, and the University's Student Health Services has developed plans to deal with any issues that may arise on the campus.

The Women's Caucus advocates for positive change on issues of concern to women staff and faculty at the University. All employees who identify as women are invited to attend the spring general meeting to learn about the work of the caucus and voice their thoughts and concerns.

More information about the Women’s Caucus can be found at this website.

The Women's Caucus is led by a board of up to 15 members serving staggered three-year terms. Nine seats are up for election this year.

Board meetings are held monthly during the semester. New terms begin June 1. Those interested in running for the board should contact Megan Gaffney at gaffneym@udel.edu to receive a nomination form. Nominations are due on April 8.
