Research Stories

Penguin chicks

UD oceanographers recently reported a connection between local weather conditions and the weight of Adélie penguin chicks in Marine Ecology Progress Series, a top marine ecology journal.

Biomedical grant opportunities

Two of UD's NIH Center for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) programs have issued calls for grant applications from UD researchers. Proposals are due by Nov. 14.

To facilitate more interactions between young and senior scientists, the meeting also will include short presentations by undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The best undergraduate and graduate student talks of the day will receive the Marsho Award. Poster presentations also are encouraged.

The deadline for abstract submissions is April 2. Registration closes on April 4.
