Institute for Global Studies announces Fulbright webinar in Elliott Hall

3:14 p.m., March 31, 2014--The University of Delaware Institute for Global Studies (IGS) will host an informational webinar for the Fulbright Scholars Program Thursday, April 10, starting at 2 p.m. in the institute’s conference room in Elliott Hall

The Council for International Exchange of Scholars will provide an interactive overview of the award opportunities in the webinar titled “Fulbright Opportunities in Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.” Awards are available to U.S. professionals, academics and applied researchers in 2015-16.

Rwanda overcomes

For Louise Mushikiwabo, minister of foreign affairs and cooperation for the Republic of Rwanda and a 1988 UD alumna, an Oct. 1 return to campus was a homecoming.

Borel Fellows

In an effort to identify the first Borel Fellows, Mark Rieger, dean of UD's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, will travel to Kenya in November.

Those who plan to attend can register by emailing Dan Bottomley, IGS associate director for global contracts and grants.
