Christiana Care to host Delaware Health Sciences Alliance event
1:24 p.m., June 3, 2014--The third annual Delaware Health Sciences Alliance (DHSA) Global Health Symposium will be held at the John H. Ammon Medical Education CenterĀ on the campus of Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, on Friday, June 13.
Dr. Tom Quinn, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and associate director for international research at the National Institutes of Health, will deliver the keynote address.

June 6-9: Food and culture series
A slate of regional and national speakers will discuss topics including:
- Tropical medicine cases,
- Getting involved in work abroad,
- Refugee health issues locally,
- Challenges for residencies and fellowships, and
- Developing a global health track.
The event will also feature interactive panel discussions and innovative workshops.
Registration is free for students, residents, and fellows and discounted for all DHSA institution members (Christiana Care, University of Delaware, Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, and Thomas Jefferson University).
