TEXT SIZE

10:36 a.m., July 29, 2013--UD e-Park, the University of Delaware's online parking permit system, is available for students, employees and retirees who are interested in parking on campus during the 2013-14 academic year.

Online sales for employees have begun and those for students will begin Aug. 1.

FYI Stories

Task force

A faculty-driven self-study of the University of Delaware's broad goals in undergraduate education is underway to ensure that UD students of the future are prepared for tomorrow's challenges.

Suspect in jail

The University of Delaware Police Department has arrested and charged a UD graduate student with 21 counts of criminal violation of privacy for allegedly hiding video cameras in various restrooms, most of them women's restrooms, over a period of more than two years.

To acquire a parking permit, go to the permits website, select “purchase a permit,” login with your UDelNetID and follow the on-screen instructions.

Non-University and part-time employees can register online if they have a UDelNetID.

Note that the website has changed, and be sure to read the information on each page.

Also be aware that the following lots have changed from gold to gray -- in the north center of campus, lots 18, 19, 20 and 67, and to the east, lots 3, 39, 50, 54 and 55.

Employees

Online sales began Monday, July 29.

Note that those employees who are currently on a wait list for a gated lot do not need to submit a new wait list request for that lot.

Students

Online sales will begin Thursday, Aug. 1.

All students receiving financial aid or loan monies who wish to take advantage of the “bill student account” option should submit a permit request before Aug. 23.

On-campus students should register early to obtain the closest lot to their residence hall.

Commuting students should consider purchasing long-term permits, as they are more cost effective than short-term permits.

Graduate students who wish to have payroll deduction must wait until their fall stipend has been entered into UDSIS.
