Construction at Cleveland, North College intersection announced
9:26 a.m., July 17, 2013--The University of Delaware has advised the campus community that a Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) summer construction project at the Cleveland Avenue and North College Avenue intersection will require intermittent lane closures.
DelDot and Kriss Contracting will be installing a new traffic signal and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant pedestrian facilities at the intersection, with work scheduled to begin Monday, July 22, and to continue through Friday, Aug. 23.

Construction will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, and there will be flaggers and police control at the work site.
UD officials recommend that members of the campus community avoid the area and find alternate routes to those parts of the campus adjacent to the intersection.
