Newark Police seek assistance in identifying theft suspect

11:52 a.m., July 19, 2013--Newark Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in two thefts that occurred in February at Panera Bread on East Main Street. Two photos of the suspect are shown above.

On Feb. 8 and Feb. 15, two different victims reported having their wallets and credit cards stolen at the restaurant. The credit cards were later used at the Christiana Mall.

The University of Delaware 2014 Summer Faculty Institute will be held from June 2-6.

An investigation has been ongoing, but police have been unable to identify the suspect.
