UD offers 'Employee Wellness Coaching: From Resolutions to Reality'
2:53 p.m., Jan. 15, 2014--In this season of new beginnings, University of Delaware faculty and staff have a new way to make their resolutions a reality by working with a certified wellness coach through the HealthyU Employee Wellness Program.
“Most people do not achieve their New Year’s resolutions because they fail to think through all the steps needed to be successful,” says Linda Smith of HealthyU, who conducts wellness coaching sessions for employees in person on the Newark campus or by phone. “Wellness coaches serve as a sounding board and provide accountability for individuals to who wish to sustain positive lifestyle changes.”

- Define a personalized vision for their wellness lifestyle;
- Clarify long-term goals that bring their wellness vision to life; and
- Commit to weekly action steps that move them closer to their goals.
An initial five-session package costs 45 Wellness Dollars and can be scheduled by appointment during the regular workday. For more information and to register, visit HealthyU Employee Wellness or call 831-8388.
