Jan. 22-23: Syllabus clinic
CTAL, ATS offer 'syllabus clinic' for University faculty members
10:10 a.m., Jan. 6, 2014--University of Delaware faculty members who are preparing for the spring semester are invited to drop-in to a syllabus clinic that will be offered Jan. 22-23 by colleagues from the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL) and Academic Technology Services (ATS).
CTAL and ATS representatives will assist faculty members in enhancing what a syllabus communicates about course expectations to students. Faculty members might consider outlining a course, its goals, methods and assessments via a graphic, such as one featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education, as well as in more traditional ways.
