Science Expo judges

UD faculty, staff, students with expertise in sciences sought as expo judges

8:26 a.m., Jan. 15, 2014--University of Delaware faculty, staff and students with expertise in the sciences are invited to volunteer to serve as judges for the 19th annual New Castle County Science Expo to be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Delaware Technical Community College in Stanton. 

The Expo is designed to encourage middle and high school students to carry out scientific research projects, and provides a forum for students to present their findings.

'Contactless' ONEcard

The UD ID card will be replaced by the ONEcard, which incorporates a chip and features a new technology initiative called "contactless," meaning the card can be placed near a reader device rather than swiped.

HealthyU in 2015

The HealthyU Employee Wellness program provides resources for University of Delaware faculty and staff to address their fitness-related resolutions in the New Year.

Judging will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Feb. 26, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Expo organizers are seeking judges with expertise in mathematical sciences, physics, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, computer science, biological sciences, zoology, engineering, earth and space science, consumer science and social-behavioral science.
