Morris Library announces hours on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
9:35 a.m., Jan. 8, 2014--The Morris Library at the University of Delaware will be open from 1- 9 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 20, although University offices are closed and classes are suspended.
The Morris Library will be open although not all service desks will be staffed; some service desks may have reduced hours. Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery will be closed. The Chemistry, Marine Studies and Physics libraries will be closed.
Dec. 4: First Friday Roundtable
“Experience shows that the Morris Library is still heavily used on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, even though no classes are given,” said Susan Brynteson, vice provost and May Morris University Librarian. “The University of Delaware Library is trying to meet the needs of library users.”
The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7, provides access for faculty, students and staff of the University to a rich array of online library resources, including DELCAT, WorldCat Local, databases, full-text information, electronic books, electronic journals and electronic newspapers, Research Guides, digital collections, UDSpace and much more.
