Rape Aggression Defense
UD Public Safety offers Rape Aggression Defense classes
8:13 a.m., Feb. 10, 2014--University of Delaware Public Safety is offering Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) self-defense classes for University-affiliated women this semester, with basic classes set to begin in mid-February and an advanced class scheduled to begin in mid-April.
Basic RAD provides 15 hours of instruction, and those who register must attend all classes. Classes will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the following dates at a central campus location to be announced:
Faculty and Staff Campaign
Connecting parents with students
• Mondays – Feb. 17 and 24, and March 3, 10 and 17.
• Tuesdays – Feb. 25, and March 4, 11, 18 and 25.
Advanced RAD also provides 15 hours of instruction. A prerequisite is that participants have taken the Basic RAD course. Advanced RAD will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the following dates at a central campus location to be announced:
• Mondays – April 14, 21 and 28, and May 5 and 12.
The cost for all RAD courses is $25 to cover materials, equipment and fees.
