Open access platforms and journals are emerging as an exciting new avenue for disseminating scholarly works, yet here too scholars face many decisions regarding how best to share their works while still protecting their intellectual property.

Workshop leaders will talk about open access and how it will impact graduate students’ research and writing. Ways authors can retain their rights and still publish in the most important journals will also be covered.

Participants will leave with a small toolkit of resources to help them navigate the somewhat unfamiliar world of publishing and open access requirements that they must now address.

The workshop will meet from 3-4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, in Room 116A on the first floor of the Morris Library.

Presenter will be Catherine Wojewodzki, librarian, Reference and Instructional Services Department.

This workshop is available at no charge and is open to University of Delaware graduate students. Online registration is available at this website.
