Friday entrepreneurial series returns at new Venture Development Center
10:14 a.m., Feb. 14, 2014--The Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club), in collaboration with the University of Delaware’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, invites members of the campus community to the February Free Lunch Friday speaker series.
Each Friday at noon, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University are invited to attend a 15-20 minute presentation on an aspect of entrepreneurship, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session.

The events are free and open to the public, but seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Lunch and refreshments are free to attendees.
The first event of the semester will feature the Horn Program’s new Venture Development Center (VDC), located at 132 E. Delaware Avenue. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new space and learn about the opportunities available for student entrepreneurs. The E-Club will also be on hand to talk about upcoming programs and how to become a member.
Upcoming events, which all will be held at the VDC, include:
- Feb. 14: Tour the VDC and meet members of the E-Club.
- Feb. 21: Donna O’Dell Hoke, founder and owner of Unique Impressions.
- Feb. 28: Thomas Kane, president of Network Building and Consulting.
