8:26 a.m., Dec. 3, 2013--The University of Delaware Alternative Breaks (UDaB) program, founded in 2010, sends service trips over spring break to multiple locations throughout the United States.

This year UDaB is a contestant in the Liberty Mutual Spring Break Grants video contest.

Community engagement

A new UD initiative will affirm and expand the institution's commitment to community engagement, Provost Domenico Grasso has announced.

For Delaware students

The University of Delaware Faculty Senate today approved implementation of a four-year pilot program in which Delaware students will be able to choose whether or not to submit their SAT or ACT test scores for first-year admission to the University.

Grant money received through the contest would go toward UDaB’s eight spring break trips and would assist in decreasing the cost for participants.

To vote, visit this link, find the University of Delaware video, and click “vote.”

Voting ends Sunday, Dec. 8, and people can vote as many times as they would like until then.
